Today's college instructors and students want greater choice, value, and innovation in their textbook resources. More and more, instructors and students are turning to the web for teaching and learning solutions. CourseSmart can help retailers respond to this ever-growing need.CourseSmart is an online retail resource founded by leading publishers to improve access and availability for digital course materials. It offers retailers a smart way to provide consumers easy access to eTextbook versions of some of the most popular textbooks on campus today. It enables institutions and partners to implement a single access point for eTextbooks, which improves access while lowering costs. It also offers retail partners the opportunity to sell new products that they might not currently offer. We've built the e-commerce infrastructure; all you have to do is apply to become an affiliate and, once accepted, place a link to CourseSmart on your website. You can immediately begin offering faculty and students a new choice in textbook format with thousands of popular titles from a wide variety of higher education publishers. As a CourseSmart affiliate, you will receive 5% of net sales (sales minus any applicable taxes, refunds, or re-subscription) on all purchases made by students directed to CourseSmart from your site.  How the Affiliate Program WorksFollow these simple steps to get started: 1. Join the Affiliate Program Once approved, you will be sent your affiliate "code" with instructions for how to place a link to CourseSmart on your website. 2. Use the CourseSmart Tools CourseSmart provides ready-made banner ads, buttons, and marketing copy that you can "cut and paste" to your website to further increase the visibility of the CourseSmart option. CourseSmart provides optional API tools that support deeper, title-level linking from your site to ours. Contact us for more information about our API tools. 3. Start collecting affiliate fees! As a paid CourseSmart affiliate, you will begin earning referral fees as soon as students click through from your site to CourseSmart and purchase an eTextbook subscription. CourseSmart will track fees and provide sales reports. CourseSmart will issue checks in U.S. Dollars on a quarterly basis (net 45 days). To receive payment in a given quarter, the payment due must total at least $50. In the event the minimum amount is not reached in the current quarter, those dollars will be rolled over into the next quarter until the total amount equals at least $50, at which time a check will be issued. | Premier Affiliate ProgramCourseSmart has entered into a preferred relationship with Nebraska Book Company (NBC) to offer CourseSmart eTextbooks through NBC Jumpbooks® (http://www.jumpbooks.com). Our Premier Affiliate Program allows any college store to offer CourseSmart inventory on their shelves and through their website via NBC Jumpbooks. Through this unique program, college stores keep the transaction, sharing revenue back to CourseSmart and Nebraska Book Company. Stores that participate in the program also receive promotional support from CourseSmart through bookstore focused communication sent to students, faculty and publisher representatives. The CourseSmart-NBC relationship is an excellent way for college stores to establish themselves as the primary distributor of eTextbooks on a campus and provide students with this important new choice in conjunction with the other services a bookstore provides such as accurate adopted title information and support for financial aid and scholarship transactions.
